Krásna Hôrka Castle has been in the news with every change of government. Mistrust, vested interests, and the search for a place to profit from an unfortunate fire have created unexpected obstacles to the restoration, which would have been completed long ago if it weren't for the fact that the castle is state-owned. This painting speaks about culturar heritage resilience and a wish for its new life.
